Cox, the famous explorer, has his laboratory headquarters in the city of Aurora. It is one of the small buildings by the waterfall that you can explore in Monster Rancher Battle Card. His computer contains lots of notes about his explorations of the nearby ruins, and he is performing research on a Gaea Stone (called a MegaRock) and what appears to be an Abyss skull.
