A botanical breed of Lesione that appears to have a Plant or Plante sub-type because its body is covered in leaves, but because there is no combining in Monster Rancher 3, monsters are classified according to where they live. Grilief live in the forest region known as Morx.

The second half of its name references the leaves that cover its body.
Its Japanese name is Gurirīfu.
