Monster Rancher Wiki

A green breed of Lesione that looked like it had a Plant or Plante sub-type when it first appeared in Monster Rancher 3, with a bud on its head, leaves for flippers and a large flower blossoming from its tail. But because the game does not allow combining, monsters are classified according to where they live, and Hibis live in the jungle region known as Kalaragi. Later, they received a major makeover for Monster Rancher 4 and Monster Rancher Advance, which made them look less like plants and more like scaly green dinosaurs. The plant-like version of Hibis was remade as Bloomer in Monster Rancher Advance 2.

Etymology

Its name comes from the word hibiscus, a family of tropical and sub-tropical flowers.
