Muddy Jell
Muddy Jell / Clay / Gibier Jell

A brown breed of Jell that had its name changed twice, but retained the same design and appearance (even in the anime series) until Monster Rancher EVO. The name Clay is later given to the Jell/Monol sub.

Clay is a type of sediment, much like dirt, but more malleable. Mud is a sediment created when water mixes with dirt. This monster has the same consistency as these substances. Its Japanese name at this point was Nendoman (ネンドマン), which literally means "Clay Man."

Gibier is a French word referring to any wild animal that is hunted for food or sport.
