An ancient breed of Raiden that looks like a large dinosaur. When it first appeared in Monster Rancher 3, it looked like it had a Naga sub-type (later called Gargoyle), but because the game does not allow combining, this is impossible to determine. Not to be confused with another Template:Ns type of Raiden, the green Putaranoden. The main difference between the two is that Petradens have shorter beaks and very tiny wingspans, so they cannot actually fly like the Putaranoden.
Although Petradens can live for thousands of years, they are believed to be all but extinct now.
Etymology[]
Its name is meant to be a combination of the words Template:Ns (the flying reptiles this monster resembles) and Raiden.
