Taya is the very soft-spoken, very shy younger brother of Maya. He comes to watch you train your monster several times while you live in Brillia, and each time Fleria can tell he's eager to battle you. Each time you do he gets less and less shy, and finally he comes back with a Shimurug he has started to train. They give you a run for your money, and it appears you have finally taught Taya to come out of his shell. He looks up to you alot.
