An all-terrain vehicle monster, built by the ancients for travel over land and sea. It can carry passengers inside itself, and although it does have some weapon capability, it is mostly used for searching and reconnaissance. Because of the way it's constructed, it can dive to much greater depths than many other Lesiones.
It is named after the Yuma Crossing, a site in Arizona and California that is significant for its association with transportation and communication across the Colorado River. It features a dry, desert climate that contrasts greatly with the amount of water nearby, much like this monster is used in both deserts and oceans. The original word comes from the Cocopah Native American language.
